Health Guarantee

Dogs sold and trained through Battle Ridge Kennels & K9 Services, LLC may be accompanied by current hip and/or elbow x-rays as well as up-to-date shot records to include rabies and heartworm tests. All puppies/dogs that are sold have a hip/elbow guarantee until that individual puppy/dog is 26 months of age.  If the puppy/dog is unable to continue to work due to hereditary hip and/or elbow problems, the puppy/dog will be replaced. Dogs that are sold and are at least 24 months old at the time the customer takes possession, will come with a 12 month hip/elbow guarantee.   This does not include joint problems that have occurred due to an injury or neglect caused by the owner.  After taking possession of the puppy/dog, that has been accompanied by x-rays,  the customer has (30) thirty days to have the x-rays examined by their vet to determine whether or not the dog will be accepted.  If after (30) thirty days the customer has not met this requirement, then the dog will not be replaced merely due to the quality of the x-rays.

For a period of twelve (12) months from the time the customer takes possession of a puppy/dog, if there are any health conditions that are determined to have been present at the time the customer first takes possession of the dog that renders the dog unable to work, Battle Ridge Kennels & K9 Services, LLC will replace the dog with a dog of the same breed and training.

Battle Ridge Kennels & K9 Services, LLC will replace the dog with another dog but will not refund the purchase price or any costs associated with the purchase of the dog.

It will be the responsibility of the initial purchaser to return the dog to Battle Ridge Kennels & K9 Services, LLC. Battle Ridge Kennels & K9 Services, LLC will incur the costs of delivering the replacement dog.

Any dog spayed or neutered within 24 months of the purchase date, when initially sold intact cannot be returned and will void this guarantee.

Battle Ridge Kennels & K9 Services, LLC reserves the right to have the dog checked by our veterinarian in any situation .
