First Sergeant John Adams is currently an officer and shift supervisor with the Madison Police Department. First Sergeant Adams has been a police officer for 9 years and began his career in law enforcement with Sylvester Police Department, Sylvester, WV.

In May of 1996, First Sergeant Adams entered training with the 94th Basic Class at the West Virginia State Police Academy and graduated in August, 1996. In November, 1996, First Sergeant Adams transferred to the Danville Police Department where he served as a patrolman until April of 1998. At that time First Sergeant Adams left Danville to serve at the Madison Police Department.

First Sergeant Adams is now attending the Master Trainer’s Course offered by Battle Ridge K9 and will be assisting with the training we offer.
