In May of 1996, First Sergeant Adams entered training with the 94th Basic Class at the West Virginia State Police Academy and graduated in August, 1996. In November, 1996, First Sergeant Adams transferred to the Danville Police Department where he served as a patrolman until April of 1998. At that time First Sergeant Adams left Danville to serve at the Madison Police Department.
During his career, First Sergeant Adams has received training in the following areas:

Basic Swat/SRT Training
Safety and Survival Training
Officer Survivability Training
Interrogation Techniques
Self Defense For Law Enforcement
Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement
Basic Narcotic Detection K9 Handler’s Course
Rural and Urban Tracking
First Sergeant Adams is now attending the Master Trainer’s Course offered by Battle Ridge K9 and will be assisting with the training we offer.
