Battle Ridge Kennels & K9 Services, LLC Offers German Shepherds, Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois and Labrador Retrievers for patrol work, tracking/trailing, narcotic, explosive and accelerant detection. Other breeds are available upon request.
The majority of our dogs are imports or out of imported parents from working lines. We test our dogs extensively and demand that they are social, not only to people but to be environmentally sound as well. We test them on slick floors, gunfire, stairs, dark confined areas and in any number of other situations they will encounter in training and on the street. We are known for producing dogs that are high drive and are willing to work.
We have access to several different vendors, so getting the right dog for your needs is not a problem. If you are interested in a particular breed or training and it is not listed just contact us and we can get it for you.
We have young dogs on a regular basis that are up and coming. We work with them daily to lay the proper foundation for detection work, tracking and all phases of apprehension. We ensure that they have super hunt and retrieve drives to perform any type of detection work. They are challenged and motivated every day with hunt games that keep them interested and intense. During bite training, the proper foundation is laid to ensure full grips and to work on their fight drive. We want dogs that are intense in their drives but that are still clear headed and social.
